Re: "when expecting news to be good ,no news is bad news", I would disagree in this case, but that is just my opinion. Given the time of year (holidays), it was very unlikely that there would be news until next year.

PS. Might want to consider not putting "News" in a title like that, as myself (likely not alone) read this and thought that there was news.
