This may all be accurate and doable.....but I would never give CRA any opportunity to exercise their interpretation of words like "may" or "usually" or "normally".

They have been quite hawkish with people whom they suspect of day-trading in their TFSAs. Some people have been subjected to fines that were not defined a priori, basically CRA made up the rules and penalties as they went along. And, you can be sure that once you are on their watch list, you will always be on their watch list.

I'll wait until January 2/15 to execute new TFSA transactions.
