Also I have to thank Mrs. Shepherd for all her postings to our community.
Personally found her messages highly critical – not for us, but for her: As a close relative of the Vice President of Technology she had to be very careful. I could feel that she liked to tell us so much more, but she had to bite her tongue. Telling nonpublic information to us would have had legal consequences for her and LS. Still the helped a lot to keep my mood up in this cruel time in October. I had the feeling that the board listened to many of our sorrows – through the voice of our “angel” of the board. Her message to us: Trust in the actions of the company. They are the main shareholders, so their personal interest is ours, but their insight in their actions is much higher. Their heart and their soul is POET.
Here my thoughts about her motivation to stop posting: After Lee “left” POET, there was a problem for the Shepherds: The expiry of their warrants in February.
I am sure the last cross trades we were all or partly arranged sales of the – now not considered officially as insider so they can execute their warrants. In such a situation, board messages of Mrs. Shepherd would be under thread, and for her personal safety, it was wise to leave.
But why did they sell now and not in February – as we all are expecting significant changes in the SP? Again the reason could be that – even LS is now not listed as insider, he still has too much insight in the near future of POET, and possibly some of the next NR/partnerships and transactions would place him in an even more exposed situation.
I can see very positive signals in this leaving and eventually the cross trade. Let us watch the number of issued shares within the next days, and let us wait for good news, this week of in January, I do not care.
I hope we can meet Mrs. Shepherd soon, back on this board, of at the next AM!
