Although many have been touting the risk has been substantially removed, many won't touch this spec investment until such time POET comes out with revenues in the form of NREs ( non-recurring engineer fees) and/or royalties. When POET's monetization strategies start to become a reality, you will see more and more retailers and institutions start to take notice and make an initial investment.

Most likely the number of shorts is a good indication of how this disruptive technology is interpreted. Although I think most of these shorts are playing the long side as well, they are not convinced that POET is the real deal.

The words that come to my mind " Show me the money"!

then watch this thing skyrocket. Lets hope we get the 40nm PDK NR before Xmas.
