The Unnecessary Agonising Over Milestones and Projected Targets

Hi Gooch,
We have been informed previously by the company to the effect that the setting and achievement of goals and milestones are affected by the other business entities we work with and cannot be considered as due dates. This has not changed. I don't have the reference to hand for this, you will just have to take my word as I'm being lazy.
I am also fairly sure that there was also a comment from management about the unnecessary speculation that goes on because of POET's previous policy of publishing such timings. This does not happen in other companies. I think it was Stephan Gagnon said this at the AGM???
My view is that targets are an internal matter, when we as shareholders try to get involved all that happens is that the SP gets bounced around unnecessarily. The fact is that this company has performed miracles in the year since the strategic committee defined its policy towards the monetisation of the POET Intellectual Property and there is absolutely not one shred of evidence put forward that this company is not going to achieve its goals.
Everything takes time and the demands of business relations must be managed. Rest assured that we are on the cusp of some particularly key news runs which are necessary to build the SP up to the $4 level needed for registration as a NASDAQ company, a stated goal of the company. I firmly believe that the lack of news amounts to the grindstone and treadmill spinning so busily that announcements are the last of their worries for the moment.
We are all going to have to practice what is often missing here - patience.
