PC was absolutely involved in the recruiting process, as would any good CEO, but the recruiter needs to find and prioritize suitible candidates for the first round of interviews. I would doubt that PC even saw all the resumes that were initially submitted or referred. Typically he would just review the top 3-5 candidates. Probably interview 3.

PS At the AGM, AM did make reference to PC convincing him to join POET. AM did say that PC was 'relentless'.. Not sure that I remember that word but AM was quite clear that PC did a good job in selling POET to him. Now that he is here, the rest is history....
