I agree SE. Recommending stocks to family and friends is fraught with (extreme) danger. However, I don't see the harm in "mentioning" that you have a position in a new tech stock that may have considerable upside. Perhaps they should check it out and do a little DD. I think that many people, given the knowledge that a company like POET exists, will come to a conclusion similar to many on this forum. Imagine if we all make considerable gains and then our friends or family find out we didn't even mention it to them.
