If you still did not get it, we are talking about POET and not a "loan" from a bank. Bank has it own rules. Bank loans you money so yes, they do want to see your plan and etc. so they can asses if they will get their money back. On the other hand when you "loan" give money to a company that is listed on any stock exchange or not, it's totally up to you do your own DD.
