PC has a PR plan which by now is clearly defined and awaiting the final go-ahead from the Board. PC is now concerned about the SP because he knows that a NASDAQ listing is a must in order to give POET the credibility needed to attract the right type of corporate investor, as well as ensure the stream of callers to our Executive Vice Chairman, Ajit Monacha in Silicon Valley are of the quality to make a difference. He wants to put aside the nonsense of being a venture capital firm behind him. Clearly he did not go through the pain of requesting shareholder approval for consolidation at the AGM for nothing, given the baggage that is carried in the negative perceptions of reverse splits in venture capital markets.

However our interim Chairman will want to act from a position of strength. The confidence we see radiating from the new Corporate Presentation is his start point. The articles we saw earlier created the necessary backdrop to this and as we are now well into the Q4 of 2014,. His plan must be well established and indeed many of the necessary pieces will already be in place. it is therefore not too difficult to imagine that an announcement is in the offing about partnerships, the achievement of technical goals and POET performance parameters that place POET technology as a disruptive industry leader beyond doubt.

This will be coupled to announcements about our cooperation with the ‘third party foundry’ and the customer who has been requesting the node size at 40 nm will be revealed. Given Eileen Teehon’s well-grounded perception of what happens next, there will be a significant move forward in the SP, that will advance even further when contracts are announced in early 2015.

My final attempt at playing Nostradamus is to predict that AM is already set up at Global Foundries CA where he is still an advisor and probably never actually moved his family photos out.
