Yes, that may be a restricting factor within the market, but no device maker will want to be known for "not having" Poet technology, especially in the sexy stuff like phones, tablets, wearables, games, etc...

The simple but powerful feature of extended battery life due to lower Poet chip energy usage will cause its own "gotta-have-it" mania (if I may quote Eileen), let alone what the impact will be from the speed and optical features. BUT.... I'm getting out of my depth with this line of thought....even though I intuitively know it, I'm not expert enough to fully detail and explain all the nuances.

Perhaps others would care to jump in.
