Message: Interesting, it's III-V, but it's FinFET & it's on silicon

I think this is closer to POET than any other solutions, but still isn't close. Unfornately http://www2.imec.be/be_en/press/imec-news/imeciiivfinfet.html doesn't reveal much about the technology, but my impression is they have a III-V FinFET transistor (n-type?), and that is it. Okay, they mention CMOS, but this is somewhat cloudy and seems to be more an outlook into the future than something they have implemented. Otherwise they'd show two transistor types, won't they? And of course no optics, no thyristors, nor other novel devices.

That's my personal impression. Anybody care to comment?

Oh, just noticed that this "news" is from 2013! So this isn't news, it's "olds".
