imo, better not to poke at him, it's pretty clear by now what dogma he subscribes to (entrenched legacy silicon buys the adverts that pays the bills). seems he won't respond to anything but putting his own fingers thru the stigmata. (maybe even licking them afterwards too, just to make sure it's not stage blood!) when the time comes, he'll be so far behind in the line, that I don't think he'll get the chance. i.e., don't waste your energy -- leave him to pick at the dregs for his extremetech blog site, after the qualified "real" journalists are given priority. if he represented an authentic publication, rather than an ad-shilling rag, I would be inclined to feel differently. you can beat a dead horse, but you can't make it think.
