Message: POET: Now and into the Future

@fairchij "Oogee did you notice slide 18?"

Yes, I smiled when I saw that. Geoff was so frustrated when he told us about that application.

Shaking his head, he said something like: "POET has tremendous applications for solar, but I guess we aren't doing solar anymore..."

Geoff and his team always deserved more appreciation than they were getting under the inept and self-serving team that was in charge at the time.

Lee was the first of many who would eventually position the company as it stands now. He was just a "visitor" when Geoff uttered the above statement back in 2011, and Lee would later become Taylor's biggest supporter on the management side.

I'm sad to see him go, but I know a guy with his talent will land on his feet. He will no doubt continue to play an arm's length role in POET's future.

I actually imagined him beginning his own startup with a device that was heretofore impossible, but for Taylor's invention. Wouldn't it be amazing to get in on the ground floor of something like that?
