As a developer/manufacturer, we are given a timeline.
That timeline is a tight measurement, predicated on all the process factors being successfully completed. In a contract situation there are substantial penalties for being late. For in house product, time lines are as tight but problems have a bit more flexibility for correction.
For PTK, the tension and demands of the time line are no less pressure packed. The potential for the product, we are informed, is monumental. The yen to get it to market expecially after public exposure, is also monumental. Where ever possible time lines will be compressed, and in fact constantly pushed. In front of the scenes time drags slowly, in behind there is never enough hours in the day.
If your thinking about news sooner rather than later, thats a good bet.
You can bet they want the same thing.
