just make sure your high-ask is reasonable.

most direct retail brokers' automated systems should take a $10 ask on PTK without complaint, but they might balk at higher, for example $50.

full-service brokers should follow your orders (full-stop) unless it's something very clearly against the rules.

also, some help ...

last week someone posted a screenshot of the high-end of the order book for PTK, with asks from the high-dollars up to orders in the $hundreds per share.
