Management has done so much in a relatively short time. Aside from the development of the technology and the milestone completions, they've been able to find a key liason with industry in the hiring of Manocha. Any misstep now would have the possibility of preventing POET from reaching its full potential and I can't imagine how focused they have to be to thwart a takeover. The difference b/w a rapid buyout and numerous lucrative licensing outcomes could be huge.

Remember how lean the staff are at this gem of a company. (I wish the government would run that efficiently!!) So rather than keep asking "Are we there yet?", we should try to enjoy the ride.

I guess it all comes down to faith in the technology and support of its management. For some of us, this is agonizing given our deep personal investment in the company. As for the opponents out there, we knew resistance would come and it is likely to increase as we near production and revenue (Hallelujiah!).
