Yep, Google is dangerously close to being a pipe to the NSA, CSIS and all other government information gathering affilates.

It's difficult to say whether Apple is any better, or if they hide their involvement more securely; regardless, my hope is that POET will bring a powerful enough chip that will enable secure encryption (quantum computing) so their privacy invasion is ended once and for all.
