Message: Energy Consumption

We all know that our personal digital accessories do make life more fun, much more simple in time management areas, and provide us much needed information on many variable fronts. It stands to reason then, the usage of them, the want for more and different products, and the need for these products to improve our lives, that sales and demand will go up exponentially.

One of the quandries in our business though and the "achilles heal" if there was one is that of power consumption of these devices. There is extensive research being done, and many, many suggested solutions, from pie in the sky to legitimate contenders. There is but one though that seems to have the nuts and bolts, the clout, and the potential to become not only global life changing, but eco designated as well.

That seems to be POET.

As a marketer, POET is a dream product. Either first party with a big and splashy program or even third party, where relegated to the background, will still cause a mania. In my world, its "whats the customer or end users hot button" ? For example, a few years ago we developed the "2 Screws" program. We studied and identified that for this particular product, hobbyists (our target market for this product), wanted not only plug and play performance, but easy adaptation and installation, hence 2 screws.

POET will be even more simple than 2 screws, in that its features and benefits are built in to the chip and therefore already integral to the product. No installation, no programming, just plug, play and improve yours and others lives.

I think its going to be fun, historic and life changing......and....we get a front row seat.

What follows is some due diligence on batteries and power consumption. A soon to be redundant topic. Thanks POET !
