Completely unfounded that poet are paying them. You state this as fact and as far as any of us are aware, it isn't. Unless you have inside info? Surely it makes more sense that there is a mutually beneficial agreement. Payment comes when this tech takes off. Synopsys can see the value, and perhaps can't risk this getting into other hands?? If that isn't their opinion, then those payments you mention are going to have to be extraordinary. POET would not make them, simply for the fact that they couldn't afford them. IMO the ball is in POETs court, not the other way round. Ajit would have it no other way.
