It is a good read - which brings up a very good point about a mega cap like Apple.
Many here ask why would a mega cap like Apple not just buy out POET and own the technology. Well after reading that article, it is easy to understand why they wouldn't. Apple is an "ideas" company. They come up with the idea of a new product or function and have someone build it. If they owned POET, they would be committed to that one product and not have the flexability to migrate to the next best thing since the jet engine. Look at the various types of processors they have used over the years for their products. Yes POET may provide them and other companies the solution they will need for today, but there will be other "ARM or POETs" that will come along eventually and like a leech, Apple and any other company that depends on semi conductors, they will jump from one body to a newer body from which to continue to develop new products. Apple will ride POET's coattails for awhile.....until some other great technology comes along. But in the mean time POET will make the world a better place......with all us share holders :)
