This can show us that all this was planned since quite a long time, and POET/GF are just following their timeline.

It would be interesting to know when GF started to negotiate with producers and to order GaAs wafers as well as relevant process chemicals! All this raw material supply has to be prepared month ago, as I am sure this supply chain has to be ramped up slowly and carefully! Also these suppliers have to prepare for day X to start these trials, and day Y to start production. I am sure all this will happen under further strict NDA!

I will try to find out who could supply to GF... We should know that the GaAs processing technology is well known, but for such 40nm POET technology they will need much higher purities compared to LED technology!
