Maple Syrup: Process and Product are wholely different but equally important in the grand sckeme.

Yes, thanks, that was what I think Stephane Gagnon explained: A Process Development Kit (PDK) is needed for the fab, and a Product Development Kit (unfortunately also PDK) is needed by the chip designer. And both together is what POET Technologies calls the Technical Development Kit (TDK).
