Thats true. Even the Company, which i am working for (Financial...) , has migrated from several expensive Plattforms (Itanium, Itanium2, Sparc) to Linux@x86.

On the other Side, the Market for special Oracle-Hardware is growing, of course not that big amount like x86.

We are currently thinking about an Oracle Database Machine. Maybe i should tell my Management that we should wait 2 Years for a P... Solution :-)
