I am not sure what will happen with this exercise, but one thing I have not seen mentioned is an estimate of the number of shares into the future (might be that I just missed this part). We can estimate the market cap for POET, lots of assumptions and unknowns, but no harm in an estimate, but I think it is significantly more difficult to estimate how many shares will be outstanding five years from now. Given that, estimating the SP in five years is next to impossible, as the number of shares is obviously a significant factor, so without this, there is significant uncertainty. I think Eileen's numbers assumed the same amount of shares in five years as there are now. Not to discredit the approach, or reduce the appreciation for the effort, but I highly doubt this will be the case. I do not say this in any negative sense, but it is likely going to be a reality. Having said that, the point of these exercises is the same, in that we estimate the SP to be significantly higher in the future, but best not to over inflate things and set unrealistic expectations. I think the $70 club is lofty enough at this point.
Cheers
