Initial NRE payments would vary significantly, depending on whether or not the contract is exclusive, non exclusive and scope / type of market vertical.

I was having lunch will a colleague who is in the Semi Tech space a few months ago, who was in awe of the potential of POET, and he said NRE Revenue could range from a couple of million dollars to several 10's of millions if exclusivity was granted.

He then went on to say, once contracts are announced, the initial NRE payments will be very good news for shareholders, especially if POET is on the Nasdaq. Moreover, he reiterated that the big kicker for a stock like POET, would be the ability for market analysts to model / forecast future royalty revenue streams. This would really mark the point where shareholder value takes off big time.
