I suspect AM had already done a lot of information gathering about POET before he signed on with the company. He would not have done so if the overall technical merits were not there. Right now he is likely reviewing more technical data and looking for any "holes", and by "holes" I do not imagine he is going to find anything significantly negative, but just ensuring he is up to speed on the entire technical aspects at the detail level, and ensuring that all of the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. It is understandable that he would want to do this before putting his reputation on the line. He is not going to make contact for potential customers/partners until this level of detail has been reviewed, and he is comfortable. If he finds any "holes", he will get the good doctor to fill them in. My opinion anyway.
