The company should have no trouble with awareness.

Now with a close link to Global Foundries, who has ties with companies such as AMD, IBM, Samsung, NEC, Infineon, Toshiba, Freescale, and others. Information flow should be quite generous when they feel the time is right to open the floodgates.

Many of these companies would certainly have an interest in this new technology. With the POET technology running faster, yet cooler with less energy draw, one might assume it would also last longer. Some manufacturers may look at this as a slow down to sales figures if product last longer, but in that same breath, many consumers will jump on the innovation for that very reason giving an initial boost. Then, much like the jumps from Pentium I, to II, to III, etc. The generations to follow could presumably be significant and push sales for many years to follow. So any resistance of being too good shouldn't be an issue either.

If commercializd and mainstream, exponetial amounts of additional funding would be put in to further R&D and GaAs could end up having a life as healthy and as long as Silicon has.

They seem to have some very good foundations laid now and could have this product take off without ever needing a single article written. Though we'll certainly take all this publicity as it comes! They seem to be snowballing already. :)
