Question about disclosure

I was curious if it is heard of (or allowed) for a press release (for a publicly traded company) to disclose that they have signed a contract with a specified revenue, without disclosing the company name. For example, "POET has signed a contract with an unnamed company for a specified amount of revenue".

Just starting to think about what news we can begin to expect. Should we be expecting the TDK for PET to be completed by the end of September ("end of Q3") and news about this perhaps in October. Of course anything unexpected could come at any time.
