Cuds, Buds, and the realization of the century

An old friend of mine who was a plumber, told me that "opinions are like azzholes, everyone has them and most of them are full of sh1t".

So with that in mind, and the AGM looming i decided to take a break and really delve into things. So convinced that you can't please everyone nor make people see what they don't want to see, I decided to continue posting with a little more bullish attitude, and let the goofs, poofs, ne'er do wells, sponges, teat suckers, et al, roast in their own urinary juices of negativity.

So then the next question was, what can I add in light of my pro-brothers addtions to this and other forums, much more capably written and elucidated than I could ? So I decided to continue giving a logic based, bare knuckled, dirty fingered rationality to the argument. I do have my own group of sources in the war, but prefer to keep a low profile as they are close to the situation and don't want to endanger them in any way. So there is a good chance you may find a tid bit or two here. If your a good detective.

In the past, i have written on prices, deadlines, politics, trading etc. In the future, I am going to accentuate on whats coming. I will leave the technical stuff to my fellow and much more eloquent
on the subject, pro brothers in arms. So whats the deal today ?

I digress................

It all came clear to me while i was on the pot having a nice long sit down. I had been looking at it the wrong way. Instead of playing CEO, I was playing shareholder. Instead of strategic planning, I was wet dreaming, instead of seeing the deal of the century, I was seeing the zeal of a sentry.

Whats this blathering about ? Well I just finished reading The Tipping Point and its become obvious that PTK is near the "tipping point".

The Tipping Point

The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

Why or how is this possible ? By just looking at official company news, by the data collected by the intrepid few who care to dig, by listening and looking at the conviction of company officials at the recent AGM, you know you/we are close to a "tipping point". All it will take is the release of a revenue producing deal, to enable the effect. That point of start, will be the catalyst to the first phase of our tipping point. That will assist in share price drive, which will in turn assist in completion of a NADAQ listing which in turn will begin the mania from the US/International side of things. Building on a decent base line, the SP could only go up with more licencees, more cash flow, more "names".

Imagine a handset manufacturer boasting about more computing power, more features in the same size, more apps capacity.....less power consumption...by 80%. How many of those handsets will go off the shelves ? Next gen, disruptive, technological leviathon, a life changer, a power saver,.....what else would Madison Avenue use or could use to market the flying fack out of this technology. A Super Bowl commercial ?

Deal of the century ? Product of the century ? Next to fire and the invention of the wheel ?
Okay so too far....baaack up.....I would go as far to say a mutlilevel, vertical market, consumer electronics industry saving grace and juggernaut ? A "where were you moment".
All of the family, friends, co-workers etc etc will be saying..."why did'nt you tell us"....your response...."i did and no one took it seriously". What will it be ?

How many tentacles will it have ? How many uses possible now....and in the future ?

Why would a an executive with a substantially pristine platinum like track record, obviously a millionaire, a Rolodex of contacts as long as your arm and as golden as the Cuppertino phone book, get involved with a supposed penny ante, Canadian tech stock with no revenue, no product, no marketing, no market value ? Because Ajit realized that it was now at the "tipping point", this was the time to be involved, this was just before a mania for product and a purpose and a lifestyle improvement to the world, to come.

Why the secrecy ? Why cast doubt for the shareholders ? Why not expose it to the market ?
Why ? Because POET is now at the tipping point, like in the book when Gladwell talks of the resurgence of hush puppies shoes as a product and brand, what was the tipping point ? A few kids wanted to where the old worn out style to be different and be cool, within two years, a resurgence of the brand and from 30,000 pairs a year to over 2 million and up from there. Liken it to POET, one licensee wirth one marketing program, gets the product to a few hundred people. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc etc.........all buzz with the new thing that everyone must have, its more powerful, more flexible, more usable, cheaper and of course.......only needs a recharge once a week. The cataclysmic explosion occurs.....the tipping point has been reached.

So what does this all mean ? It means that a paradigm shift in our lives, in business and technological history, in how we do things and how we relate to things technological. Getting to positive again am I ? Going overboard with the superlatives ? Getting a wee bit or a tad bit
pumperish ? Not really, you can buy, you can sell I don't really give a flying fick what "you" do.
Simply because its out of your/our hands. Its going to be too big for it to care about you. The mania induced will be tsunami like and world scale, pouters and doubters not allowed here. The technology says so. Like the iphones tipping point, POETs will be as big and bigger. You can't stop it.........even if you wanted to.

Right now, the deal of the century, 24 months from now.......the mania of millenium.
