I think you have it entirely the wrong way around MS. It's the Traders who are skiddish, emotional and not at all interested in the long term. They're the ones most like to ask for a cuddle when the price goes down, and then start browsing Mercedez Benz catalogues when the price has a sudden spike.

Investors look at fundamentals, do due dilligence, and look at the end of the highway rather than look just past the hood ornament.
