FYI Questrade at this time will not allow margin at all on PTK because of its volitility. I was margined and was burned and after the dust settled I noticed my buying power down to zero. After several calls to Questrade they said that PTK is too volatile and will not allow margin until their risk department lifts the restriction. Who knows when that might be. Cost me shares in my TFSA just to cover. Margin is like that naughty girl across the room who catches your eye. Super exciting and a wild ride, but watch out cuz she could tie you up and steal your wallet in the end. Still with that risk you may think, " Hey I'll just chat her up. No harm in that right"?
