I'm the first to admit I'm not an expert investor by any means, but this seems to be a good example of how a Venture listing holds us back. Given the last years of crushing downward pressure on the Venture, no investors on this exchange can see good news without waiting for the punchline. All the gold buying mantras hurt us. "Sell in May, and go away", "Buy on rumour and sell on news", comparing our IP to "inferred resources" etc... (I know some apply to the broader market, but they seem to be really taken to heart with venture stocks). It seems impossible on the Venture to believe that something that seems good is not just a sheister's trick to seperate you and your money. I think on the Nasdaq or other exchanges, today's news would be seen as finding an undervalued gem, here, it's just a bunch of beaten-down, cynical investors looking for the catch. My 2 cents. Like I said, I'm no expert.
