Hey guys, obviously a lot of excitement today. Just looking at the report briefly, worth mentioning I think that they state "Therefore, in P&A's opinion, based upon a reasonable degree of probability within the valuation profession, the fair market value of the Subject Property in the context of the POET licensing program is $2,330,489,354 using the income approach to value."
To me, this states that they believe POET could be generating upwards of $2 billion in revenue through liscencing fees.
Any sort of takeover offer would naturally have a P/E multiple attached to the pricetag, which in technology can be quite high.., the real asking price POET has now is much higher then $2B.
Just my two cents.. could be fun
