Hi folks, we discussed months ago that there would be a lot of volatility with the SP, and not surprisingly, here we are. I preferred to look at my investment account when the SP was close to $3, but it is what it is, and I am focused on the big picture, and all that matters to me is the SP when I sell. I also always knew we were looking at a longer timeframe, and that the SP would not rocket overnight, although wishing thinking (and lofty expectations by many of this board) would dictate otherwise of course.

If you need something to help you relax, I would recommend reading the July 8 MidasLetter again.

http://www.midasletter.com/2014/07/poet-technologies-hire-points-way-global-foundries-amdtaiwan-semiconductor/

Specifically "POET Technologies Inc. (TSX.V:PTK) recruitment of Ajit Manocha, former head of Global Foundries, itself a spin-out from AMD Micro Devices (NYSE:AMD) is highly indicative of the value contained in POET." (bold is mine)

There is no way Ajit Manocha would sign up with POET if there was not a real potential. IMO, he would not sign up for a measly 500K per year (well measly by his standards).

There is also mention of why the SP is not a lot higher, and reference to this is a result of a lack if understanding on what POET means. IMO, most investors would not invest in something they do not even come close to understanding. This makes a lot of sense. What investors do understand is revenue, which will come, and drive the SP higher, but once again, not overnight.

GLTA, let's look for a rebound soon!! (and yes, the decline in SP is difficult to watch, hopefully we are at or near capitulation today)
