In the UK we have a broad range of newspapers. Individually we chose the paper that broadly reflects ones particular preferece for content and style. Not so here we have to plough through many posts that simply do not reflect our natural preferences and listen to viws far removed from our own and written in an unpalatable style.

I believe that POET's development has reached a tipping point, where the rough and tumble of a venture capital board no longer propetly represents the sophisticated product that POET has become. This is why some of our leaders have voted with their feet.

My view is that members come here for a more rational balanced and academic style of posting and this is how I would like to see this site continue., if it is to be allowed to degenerate further it will in fact be no different to shambles I sought to avoid at SH.

Either disciple is maintained or further deganeration will happen and the value of this site will be lost as well as the high value members as has already happened with FJ an oogee.

I therefore favour a more rigorous policy of banning or sin binning as suggested in fj post.
