Oh, come on! If you have a stake of 5 % before a reverse split, your stake won't be reduced to 1 % after the split. Your stake will remain at 5 %, no matter what.

Your number of shares by itself doesn't matter. The share price by itself doesn't matter. It's the number of shares multiplied by the share price that matters!
