Years ago I used to follow a few tech sites to see what is new coming up in the tech world. I recall ready about ARM when they were starting out and whether or not some of the Semi Conductor companies would accept them. Well anyways, one of the sites that I would go visit was AMDZONE. I always bought AMD powered comps because I always supported the under dog. Well I see some of you speculating about if AMD may be the company.
Here is a brief article I took off the AMDZONE

You might remember AMD's Hector Ruiz championing getting a computer to undeveloped countries for internet. They even had that little Geode powered computer. Well that failed. Smartphones are doing that. Now there is another laudy goal. 25 fold boosts in energy effeciency are coming by 2020. That is not long from now. PC World has the details.
The crazy part is that AMD thinks it can outpace Moore's Law, which states that a given area can pack in twice as many transistors—and therefore double computing power or efficiency—every two years. Although AMD has warned in the past that Moore's Law will slow down, the company now claims it can break ahead of the efficiency curve by at least 70 percent over the next six years.
