I think we are getting beyond conjecture here. I think that everything clearly points to GlobalFoundries being the main partner and what a partner!

It is clear to all here that MS 8 was linked to a requirement specified by a potential partner. Who but a foundary operating at CMOS builds in the region of 20nm scaling and lower would ask for a scaling of down to 100nm at least, why would GT mention of scaling beyond 100nm in his article. Thefact is it might be the highest scaling that GF machines are designed to operate at, failing to get below 100nm would have been a showstopper.

Besides, the above the timings of these two annoucements are not down to chance IMO, had they been the other way around I think we would all have almost been certain they were linked, much as we all have previously predicted here.

No, I think we are beyond reasonable doubt here in judging the essential factors, this is not circumstantial. It may be that they have not just come out and said so because there are others in this loop under NDA for whom this moment is just not right time for them to announce PDA partners. The coming out party is probably planned and not far away.

From Ajits's most recent quote regarding his willingness to work under PC, I also think we now have our new CEO, which was my initial reation yesterday at the appointment and PC will remain as our excellent Chairman.

But for me I think this is the real deal we havebeen waiting for. Other opinions may differ.

The next step is the chink of money into the coffers and by the first quarter of 2015 the funds anaysis will want in to POET/GlobalFoundries. (POET GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES)
