Message: Brick by Brick the path to Monetization is being delivered !!

I had some quiet time last evening to contemplate all the NR's we have received this year, and the major talent acquisition of Ajit Manocha.

Brick by brick the PTI BoD are building the strategic road to POET monetization.

I am absolutely delighted that Ajit has joined the PTI team. This is a huge underscoring and validation that POET is the real deal; a vastly disruptive technology that will change the entire semiconductor industry.

I agree that reading between the lines, Ajit being on the POET team whilst remaining an advisor to GlobalFoundries, could well mean we are witnessing the birth of a very exciting PDA.

I agree also with other posts regarding the fact that Ajit joining PTI, essentially confirms that MS8 is a done deal, which is also reinforced further by Geog Taylors comments in the Compound Semiconductor article dated June 6th. It is extremely unlikely an Industry Heavyweight like Ajit would join PTI unless he had seen enough evidence that convined him POET is going to change the industry.

So with Ajit we have a strong relationship with GlobalFoundries and a huge high level industry network.

Now enter the TCAD question. PTI has obviously been working with a TCAD firm to produce the TDK's (of which we are advised 10 minimum are completed).

There are several TCAD firms out there and 3 of the major players are Synopsys, Cadence and Mentor.

It would be a spectacular development if PTI, GlobalFoundries and any one of the major TCAD firms joined forces in establishing the main PDA.

This would be spectacular because that would enable the Design and Manufacture of POET chips via major preferred TCAD and Foundry industry titans. The real kicker is that a PDA of this nature would enable PTI to sell POET chip solutions to virtually ALL device / commercial verticals.

I know I may be putting 2 + 2 and coming up with 5 here regarding the PDA, but reading between the lines it has to be a close favorite.

We certainly have very exciting times ahead; can't wait to see MS8 confirmed and read the Pellegrino II report.
