A bunch of you here keep pondering about who could be the next CEO after someone so high-profile like Manocha coming on board. There is also talk about Manocha helping to pick the next CEO. I'm very surprised that no one here has suggested that Manocha will eventually become the new CEO. The transition can happen quickly, and sometimes joining the board for a short period is the first step. He was CEO of GlobalFoundries for crying out loud (with 13,000) employees! He can very easily become the CEO of POET, and would be an excellent choice in my opinion.

What is even more intriguing for me from the news yesterday is the connections that Manocha has with Abu Dhabi investors. Imagine if they take a liking to POET and want to invest their money ?? Rumour is they have a few bucks laying around :)
