We will not know (well, not in the nearest future) what is already being used from the technology by military.

But, as I mentioned before, the fact that it has been 19 years since the research started (and this was the "official" start, meaning it might in fact has started way before), tells me that the technology has been already accepted and tested by military, hence it is proven at this point, and now it is time for it to hit the market. Based on that (assumption) it is safe to bet on this stock. JMO.
