As one from the'old country' may I wish you all a happy Canada Day out there in the Domininions.

I served with R22eR for two years as their British Exchange Officers, I've drunk Caribou and eaten deer liver raw in the Canadian Arctic. The first resulted in me sleeping in a snowdrift outside of the Officers' Mess of the Citadel Quebec, the second caused a dose of the runs that resulted in frost nip to some very essential parts, but saw the best display of NorthernLights you could possibly imagine in the process.. I played Ice Hockey for the Mess, but could only travel in one direction, but at great speed ending wth an enormous wipe out, watched baseball and hockey night in Canada drinking Labatte. I got the whole R22eR mess swaying at a champagne party resulting in one officer being arrested by MPs.. I endured two Springs, that short period between digging your drive out and mowing your lawn. All in all for two years I did all I could to establish good relations between Canadians and Brits, Oh yes I helped provided military security at the Montreal Olympics too.

All in all I feel well qualified to say 'Have a nice day' guys and gals I certainly enjoyed my 730.
