Ok, but clearly, I think, POET didn't want to make use of Lazaridis' fund. They have the technological know-how to do it on their own. The alternative, that Lazaridis wasn't interested, seems improbable.

That being the case, it does sort of preclude Lazaridis from talking up POET's discoveries, but it was a general statement on what quantum computing can do. He didn't suggest it was his product, just that it existed.

Nevertheless, it's good they are really talking up qunatum computing because POET must be a leader, or at the very least a strong contender.
