I disagree with the theory on the first phrase PIM. " further scaling of our device portfolio is required" I think it means they have some of their componentry is scaled down to 100nm but not all. They will be able to develop the proprietary chips for PDAs on demand once the individual components have been reduced to the 100nm standard.
