Only those in the know, know. If I said that I expect news on Monday or Tuesday next week, would you buy tomorrow, Friday, or roll the dice and wait for the gap down. If you don't need the money liquid, buy now and sit on it. If the stock is halted with major positive news, you will pay double the price later.
