I know this because I work at a broker dealer in Toronto.
PTK is always on their "borrow needs" and today they have been trying to source 500k.
Again I do not know exactly why, but most likely one of these 2.
1.They may be looking to short and want to know if there are shares out there to be borrowed.
2. They may have been recalled and don't want to be bought in.
FWIW I am still a believer and haven't sold a single share and have added over 100k mroe shares since this pullback
