Hi Derek,
The implication of your post to FJ is that he is just raking over old coals. Had he not laid out clear evidence for doubt about CC performance that would be fair comment.
Whilst CC's post here seem to be popular with many, it remains a fact that if the substance of what he post is quetionable it deserves to be examined carefully, more so because he is a compnay official, where trust is vital. The issue is has he brought his judgement into question.
I had taken CC's willingness to be contrite as evidence to give him the benefit of the doubt, but what FJ has said and a comment re timing by my nephew Oldgreg ,has affected the balance of my internal debate on this issue.
One of the most appalilng aspects of this issue for me has been the timing, which must questions his judgement. I accept that the initial statement he made was in response to a post on another baord, which was then picked up here and discussed, but consider ths; given the expectations surrounding the EC event was it appropriate to post a NR on the 28th of April, the very day of the EC event, announcing the change of IR to Taylor Refferty.
On the basis of my post earlier on PSYOPS, I ask the question WHY he chose this moment for such an ineffectual announcement. It s effect on me at the time was to drop my morale into my boots, I suspect others felt like this. In terms of PSYOPS when you ask the question WHY? one conclusion has to be that it was intended to have this effect.
No I am afraid Derek that CC has a case to answer and it is worthy of debate. After all it is he that is advising on the release of NR amd look at the effect that has on this board!
