that there is absolutely zero sign of "MrsShepard" becoming "ex-MrsShepard"* (since I know what my wife would do to me if I was in Lee Shepard's place and POET was in fact all just a bunch of hooey), I feel we have a very strong out-of-band clue that the fellows running the show are not just a bunch of looney-tunes asshats.

* -- in fact, quite enlightening: they appeared to be very much an endeared loving couple. he seems to be a bit of a romantic under the hood, and she doesn't strike me as the kind of lady who'd put up with much boolshite from hubby for very long. kudos, from one set of married folk to another :-)
