Unfortunate that you are interpreting these thoughts negatively. My post was not intened to be engative but rather a response to your question near the end of your post. In your post you asked what might be surprises that is the reason for putting some thoughts out there. No intention one way or the other to say that they will materialize but rather identify the possible issues that POET might need to manage. (I would expect that they have already done ther cashflow analysis and have contingencies in place but you never know. The cash they currently have while close to $20 Mil is relatively small compared to what the big guys that they are trying to target have). Their remaing cash can get burned at an increasing rate as they get close to their first revenue target dates.

As far as my silicon comment goes look how folks on this Board responded to the error in the EE article. Given the amount of capital at risk it would not be surprising to see some companies that are detrimentally affected by this technology to try to undermine POET's attributes using less than honest methods. To stave that off takes a lot of time and is distracting as was seen on this Board when there was an uniformed unintentional error.
