From having heard Dr. Taylor talk at the EC I really dont think he is thinking of retirement. I get the sense this is his baby and he will care for it with great pride. I'm guessing Dr. Taylor is very passionate about exploring endless possibilities for POET and probably loves his reserch to a point that he doesn't consider it work.
